So, I've been a day ahead for blogging. It's the night of the 12th but I'll schedule this to post the morning of the 13th. It's been pretty nice except the whole having to write in past tense.
Tomorrow I go back to work after having the last 12 days off.
I honestly thought I'd get ahead in my school work.
Hahahahaha
Yeah, so I'm looking forward to going back to work (said no one ever)(ok, fine, sometimes I am, but not this time).
What I am happy for is is only have 2 more weeks left of this term. Next term I only have ONE (1) class and a CLEP to take. Then my capstone and then, AND THEN, I'm done with my bachelor's. Whoop!
So, today I decided to take a new running route. I think I'll do this once an off-set since the one I did today was in downtown Denver and I had to drive 30-35 minutes just to get there and then drive that back home.
It was a good run though! I ran through Platte River which runs next to and along downtown Denver, Elitch Gardens (use to be Six Flags), and I can see the stadium the Broncos's play at as well. It was a really pretty trail. Unfortunaetely, I cannot find the pictures I took with the Map My Run app!!! So, I only have the very few pictures I took with the camera app on my phone.
Can I talk about Batman for a moment. The dog, not the real thing. ;)
If you don't know, Batman is the tea-cup Chihuahua I got my mom. I initially did not want another dog but when I saw the ad, and the girl was giving him away for free, it felt right and so I got him. I was really surprised because free dogs on my work classified normally go quick but I was the first to claim him.

Anyway, I think he's turning more into my dog. o_O
I mean, have you looked at that face?
I normally hate Chihuahua's but this one doesn't bark, is super sweet and lovey, AND sleeps when I sleep. With my super weird work schedule, that's important.
What I wanted to talk about though is his pooping.
This dog is hilarious about his pooping. He won't poop if he thinks you're looking. Last night I knew he had to poop because of the way he was circling. He was almost there when I looked up and saw a runner coming my way. Damn Runners. I knew the runner would get to us before Batman pooped and it would ruin the poop spot he'd JUST found and was popping a squat. Dammit. So then we kept walking and seriously the dog has to poop so bad but he won't do it. He's also trying to avoid the grass at this point and head to the sidewalk because that means we'll head inside (he thinks), where he can poop inside (he thinks). I make him walk only in the grass though and finally he can no longer hold it when...
Yes.
Sorry. It's a story that had to be told since I deal with it every. single. day. with this dog. haha
