{Let's get back into it}

I've taken way too long off from working out.
I see it in my face when I take pictures.
My face is puffy again.
My number weight is fluctuating from 147-149lbs.
I had gotten down to 142lbs back in May.

What happened?
I know exactly what happened.
When I go through a break-up I just want to completely curl up into myself.
It's crazy, I know.
I know I should do the opposite but I don't.

After the beak-up, I stopped working out.
I was still running but not going to the gym for strength training.
And, let's be honest here... I wasn't running often.
Maybe once a week but usually I ran the hardest on my 5k race days.

Anyway, after yesterday and attempting to take several photo's but not liking any of them because I just didn't like any of them, I decided it's time to get back into it.
Today was my first day back to the gym.

I did this workout:

As well as a 30 minute elliptical session at 10.
According to the elliptical machine, set for a 34 year old female weighing 150lbs, I burned 200 calories and went a little over 2 miles.
I should really invest in a heart rate monitor.
I liked this particular workout too because I was able to complete all of it by myself in the group fitness room at my gym.

Anyway, it was a good start.
I decided I'll do only these full-body workouts for the next 3 weeks before switching to another, different full-body workout.
My goal is to be fit for my 5k race in Louisiana on November 16.
I'm tired of my family back home asking me if I've gained weight every time I see them on those vacations.

As of today, my weight this morning was 147.8lbs.
