It's always nice and awful at the same time when you find out someone's true colors.

So, I'm looking at getting this hairstyle...

I've had it cut similarly many years ago and I really liked it.

Actually, it was shorter than this picture but I really like the cut of this style.

Now I just need to make the appointment.

Yesterday was extremely busy. I had race 8 out of 12 and it wasn't too bad.

It's slightly better than what I've been running. Let's be honest though, my running has definitely been slacking. With my high triglycerides though, I've been picking up the slack on the running.  Even my alarm clock says, "Wake up! You have high cholesterol!" hahahaha

It was a pretty good run. The route did have a good bit of small hills we had to run up and down. There was a girl who gave me some encouragement the first time I stopped to walk. I began running again at that point and pretty much ran with her the entire time after that. It was a good feeling!  :)

By the time I got home and showered it was time to head to a friends BBQ.  That was good times. The only thing about this BBQ is one of the guys my friend/co-worker is trying to set me up with was there.  He seems to be an okay guy.  I had no idea he smokes though! Which is funny only because I give my mom such a hard time about smoking. I can't seem to help myself though because she smokes in closed areas such as the car. It makes me so sick and I literally cannot breathe. I hate closed area smoking with a passion. Anyway, off topic there for a second. So, this guy. He got my number and sent a text a few hours after I left just saying it was good to see me again and next time we'll have to get drinks or something. This was the 2nd time we'd met, BTW.

So, there's that.

And then there's also this awesome shirt I got in the mail finally!!

{Lil bit of this, Lil bit of that}

Before I get into clothes I've been loving lately, I have to say I've been eye googling this guy I work with.
I know nothing about this guy except for these facts: he's handsome as ever, he's friends with a guy married to a girl I kinda know, he doesn't wear a wedding ring (but it doesn't mean he's not married), his name, and where he works. He doesn't work directly with me but that's the ONE thing that's stopped me from being more bold with this guy. As it is, we only smile at each other in passing in the hallway and when he walks by my section he looks over to smile. Not everyone though likes to date people they work with. We do not work directly together, just in the same room but different sections. We have no connections other than the girl I kinda know who is married to his friend. She doesn't even work with us any longer.

Have I ever mentioned I'm a shy introvert outside work? Seriously, it's ridiculous. Anyway, just thought I'd mention that tid bit about the guy since it's been on my mind since like June. I did notice he wasn't at work last night and happened to walk out to the restrooms with his married guy friend. He and I talked about his wife, their future immediate plans, and school. I was able to throw in the fact that I'm single before asking him, "You look like you're going out to smoke. Where's your smoking buddy?" Yes, he smokes too but I don't know if I'd be okay with that or not. If he's a good guy, why not? Anyway, the friend only laughed a little and said, "Yeah, I'm a little sad he took the night off." That was all he gave me. Guys! ;)

The only thing left to mention right now is I will be making my way to Best Buy at some point today to see about trading in my Samsung Galaxy SIII for the Samsung Galaxy S4. Super excited about that possibility! I'm also looking forward to my mom and aunt visiting this weekend for a few days.

Oh! And can I just say I got tons of compliments from the guys I work with on my hair being straight. It was amusing and of course I enjoyed every second of it! ;)
