{Random Saturday}

There truly is not much of anything I need to do today or this weekend.

I'm gonna have to try hard to not make it a lazy day. It shouldn't be too hard since I'd like to do day 3 of week 1's C25K today. It's going to get up to 60 degrees today! How awesome is that?! I may decide to hit the gym as well. 

I also may or may not do this today to my box spring...

I suppose, if anything, I'll go to Hobby Lobby to price out the material and staple gun.

Yesterday I got my hair did. I always love it when they straighten it since it takes them 5 seconds and me 45 minutes. I also got an all over color and partial highlights. I rarely get my hair colored at the salon since it's cheaper for me to do it myself, but when in Rome. ;)

Oh, I also had to buy more of this great stuff...

I love this stuff! One, it makes your hair shiny. Two, it always helps calm down my fly-away pieces when I straighten it. Three, it definitely helps calm down my hair period when it's curly.

Last night I met up with a friend of mine who is moving to Virginia, courtesy of the Air Force. I got a little depressed by it. That's one crappy thing about the military life: You meet great, wonderful people and then they move. I wish him lots of luck though. He's been going through his own troubles that get him down. I hope this is a great move for him and living happy takes over for him.

{Crafty}

Yesterday was a great time with my niece & nephew! We went to hobby lobby and bought some stuff for craft night. I think we did great on them all! The deer head and love canvas, I got the idea from pinterest. The handprint one was an idea from pinterest also but the canvas too small. It was supposed to be the handprint tree but didn't quite work out that way. I still love it though and think it's beautiful.  The snowman and tree, I got the idea from the pinterest deer head. The snowman I love! I didn't think of the snow on the ground or the snow falling until I was adding the glue.
We had a blast making them and they turned out beautifully! 
Today are our family Christmas photographs. I really hope this goes as smoothly as our crafts did yesterday!
