***UPDATE***
You know, it looks good and smells good, I'm just not sure I'm into sweet tasting chicken. My taste buds could be off because I've been sick all weekend as well. I'm just not too sure about it. It's doubtful I make it again.
***END UPDATE***
I have to say, I've gotten much more bold with trying new things in my cooking. When I was married, I never experimented on my own. I always made box products or dishes from recipes and followed them to a T. Now, I find that if I'm missing an ingredient, I'll substitute with something on my own. Occasionally, I'll look something up on the internet if it's something like buttermilk, which I rarely keep on hand. I LOVE cooking and I've been doing a lot of it lately. I'll have to up my workouts to keep my girlish figure. Hahahaha! ;)
I'm also thinking of getting an apron. I make huge messes, with most of it getting on me! haha! AND, I mean, how cute are these?!

I also went to church again this morning before passing out for hours on my couch. It was a good service. They all have been. I know I mentioned previously that it's just a little weird because I know I do believe in a higher spiritual power, I just don't know who or what it is. However, it does feel good to be back in church. No matter what I believe, my prayers are going somewhere and I think they are being answered. I think as long as I keep an open-mind about it, I'll be okay. :)

I started back at church last Dec and have had the same feelings as you!
ReplyDeleteI think I see you in the apron with the purple top!
You know, as soon as I came across the purple one, I thought, "THIS is it!" :)
