{Doing it right}

So, I decided to no longer blog on my "workout" blog but to, instead, put it all here. I've no idea what I was thinking when I set 2 blogs up, it was a few years ago. Since I've been regularly blogging on both though, it's been annoying to me to blog on 2 different blogs. What's the point? Anyway, so all of my workout stuff will be on here now.

I have to say, I've been pretty motivated to try out CrossFit. Mostly all due to Liz at One Twenty Five. She wrote an awesome blog on CrossFit. It's really informative as she explains a lot about it and what to expect. I'm extremely worried about going into it not as fit as I'd like to be, but isn't that the point though? I was told by someone else that you probably should be a little more fit before beginning. I know, though, that they are not just going to throw me to the wolves. There are two gyms I'm interested in right now and I'll go to both to see which one I like best.

I've also decided that since I'll be doing crossfit, and it's way more expensive than a gym membership, that I'll not renew my 24 Hour Fitness membership. It's only $189, and while I hate passing that up, I know I can go to the base gym for free. I also know that if I ever have the hankering to go at 2 in the morning, I can always go to the gym in my building (as much as I'd hate that). Both gyms are free and that's the point. I'll pay for CrossFit and use the free gyms for any other workout I need.

I've also been doing decent at eating the Eat Right for Your Blood Type. Last night I made "curried carrot soup."  It was pretty good but I think I needed to let the carrots cook a little more before I blended them. Overall, it was tasty.
